Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
Songbird has been Elizabeth's protector for 12 years. Although a giant mechanical robot with a leather harness and flight suit, the bird is like her parent. So, I chose to feature their relationship as a face to face. The sunlight reflects the warmth of their affection but to Elizabeth it also is a view to something different on the horizon.
My hope is that my impressions of the world bring joy. I am an artist who used to work with large canvases in oils but when my RA made holding a brush too difficult I found a simple paint program on my computer allowed me to continue sharing my visions with others.
